Billionaire Elon Musk donated $10 million last week to a super PAC affiliated with Republican Kentucky Senate candidate Nate Morris, who is part of a competitive field running to replace retiring

Morris is a 45-year-old businessman from Lexington who founded Rubicon Technologies, a recycling and waste company. He has positioned himself as a pro-Trump outsider in a crowded Republican primary field that also includes U.S. Rep. Andy Barr and former Attorney General Daniel Cameron. Musk’s donation comes as the race draws national attention.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, backed Nate Morris, a Republican businessman, in the primary race to succeed Senator Mitch McConnell in Kentucky.

Last year, Musk swore off political spending. Now, he's reportedly made his biggest political contribution since the 2024 election.
