HAMPTON - Parkers Chapel’s girls basketball season came to an end Thursday in the 2A 4 Regional Tournament. The Lady Trojans ran into a buzzsaw and fell 50-26 to Cutter Morning Star.

The Cutter Morning Star Lady Eagles closed out 2A-4 regional tournament play over the weekend with a fourth-place finish in the eight-team field.

The Cutter Morning Star Eagles basketball teams closed out 2A-7 district tournament play by splitting a pair of games against the Dierks Outlaws in the finals on Friday.
