@therepurposedhomestead Spiced pear jam Perfect on a warm biscuit this fall and simple to make.You will need:5-6 pears peeled and diced.1 cup of water juice of one lemon2oz pk sure jell 6 cups of sugar1/3 cup brown sugar1 tsp all spice1 tsp ground nutmeg1-add pears, water and lemon juice to pan and cook until tender2- add sure gel, bring to boil 3- add white sugar and boil until sugar is dissolved ( about 1-2 min)4-add brown sugar and spices.Ladle into clean jars and water bath/ steam can for 10
