This is a northern alligator lizard, and they are common in western Washington and often make their homes in the Upper Green River Watershed. We found the one in our restoration site, between a gravel road and the Green River, where we’ve planted native trees. Focusing on restoration work helps us deliver high-quality water and provides regional benefits.
